Emissions and Road Tax

Had my Chimaera for 4 years in the summer and thinking of changing to a 500 version or a Griffith or even a Tuscan, can anyone advise when the new rules started to apply to road Tax, i think its after 2004 so anything before is still the £220 a year, is that right

Your ok with 99% of TVR's they should all be PLC due to being a low volume manufacture. 2 or 3 were classed wrong from what i have seen on here.

Why do we have a EURO invented road tax scale when most of countrys in the EU don`t even have road tax?
How can the goverment charge up to a £1000 a year tax when the car may only cover 2000 miles a year so that is less emmisions than a car lower down the scale.

I have also noticed the congestion charge is going up for vericles over a certain tax band .Think its because they are loosing money due to drivers buying cars which are eligible for a Congestion Charge discount.

This country is finished..!

Well it pays for Refugees ,free housing ,interpreters at £50 per hour and barrister fees at £1000 a day.This is where the council tax,income tax etc etc goes this why the roads around here are like Bagdad pot holes etc.

Even noticed alot of EU workers are staying here on jobs seekers ,one piticular Spanish family get £2000 a month in London a pay there rent..There better off here on the doll than back home working.
Even the ones working collect more money in tax credits tha they pay in tax .

Its costing this country you and me fortune..i cant se why EU workers can`t just get the next plane home..

Excellent rant, you should live where I do, we have nice newly resurfaced roads all around SE and east London all courtesy of the Olympics.................oh of course, I nearly forgot I've paid for it out of my council tax.
