Tank to pump 12mm. pump to filter and then to copper pipe 8mm. probably best draining the tank. You may even have to remove the tank depending on whether you can get to the clip on the tank outlet from the wheelarch.

Couldn't you use the pump to empty the tank?

Doesn't the pump just run when you turn on the ignition? Run tank down - then put fuel pipe from pump outlet into a suitably sized receptacle and turn it on?

(Or is that too dangerous / daft an idea?)

Im getting the old DEL610 out to do some tweaks and run the pump..I may even reduce the fuel line size to save on petrol.laugh
