My post has been deleted WHY

Thats odd i put a post on about how much interest i might get for about my car, and within an hour its gone, can mods please explain why ?

I'm not a mod here but I am on the TVRCC forum and I'd suggest the post was removed as you linked directly to your advert and as advertising is not allowed in the forums I'd imagine that's why it was removed.

Just asking what your car might be worth before you advertise the car is a good idea or even a post saying you've put your car up for sale and it's the blue one in the classifieds is OK but not a direct link.

Just about sums it up, the Rule of Posting no. 8 clearly states you will not:-

Post links to websites or adverts for commercial or personal gain. All advertising on PistonHeads must be through the normal channels.
