Evening all,

I just managed to acquire myself my first TVR, a 4.0 Litre Chimaera! She needs some TLC, but all will be good. I'm having a good trawl through the forum first, but may need to call on you guys for some advice/info as I go along.

Ouch, 2 Years! But this week she's away for 4 Wheel alignment and MOT, if all goes well straight to the paint shop, and a decision on how far to go with the trim.

Hoping for some sunshine this year!

Thanks,

Driven, no, plenty of pushing, yeah! It did have a little trip around the yard last week under its own power, but that's been it. Quite emotional!

Wish I'd taken more pictures really, but that would have slowed me down even more! Still plenty to do if I choose to, but wanted to get it useable to keep the my interest levels up!

Colour change - hmmm, I have considered it, but I think it will stay Starmist, might change the wheel colour if I don't change the wheels.

Shiny chassis - Repaired and Galvanised, fit and forget! lol

Hi John,

Cleaned and sodium blasted, then powder coat all over. To bring the bars back to aluminium I used wet & dry on a wooden block and then polished them up with a standard polishing mop/compound. Quite simple really and gives the desired look. Badges are laser cut stainless steel.
