MC1 cam.is it really like that????

well i got my car back to the workshop with her new cam.quick question it felt like i lost some torque..will it be possible that they messed up with the timing or something else???i called the shop they told me the top sproket has different marking comapre to the original!!beside that the car runs fine..its goes to high rpm way faster than before.but i was expecting much more from it.i really do hope they did something wrong and that by fixing it prperly this time i ll get what i am looking for.i called ROB he said that with this cam i will actually get more torque.what is ur experience with the MC1???tks guys

Did you fit the best guess Mark Adams chip? if not you may need a malpassi 1:1 adjustable fuel regulater..SILICONEKID340HP said:

You make no sense at all with that?....its goes to high rpm way faster than before...
Overall if the torque is down how can the engine spin up faster.....
Torque is just about getting bhp as quickly as you can ~ where it is can make things feel different.
well the engine is very smooth but it feel powerless a bit.the workshop u install the cam dont have the tools to do the timing properly.so they set it as a standard one.i dont feel much power after spending so much.so car will be back to an other shop who is more into tuning.see what they will say.do u guys have the full MC1 specs???V8d is closed!!tks

It may need more fuel..get it on the rollers..Have you ever checked your Fuel regulator.is you vac ppe connected and working ..needs some who knows how to set it up..MC1 is a good cam but its not going to turn it in to a rocket..Just pulls very well.spend said:
