POWER RUN ACHIEVED - ROFL
Discussion
MAX BHP 358.9 @ 5194rpm
MAX TORQUE 385ftlbs @ 4350rpm
supercharger working perfectly, good boost >7.2psi
in other words about 100 of each below estimated
I think this says it all !
I beat you Chilli, by 4bhp. I guess that's about £1000 per bhp - a record surely ? lol

A rough rule of thumb is 1 lb boost = 7% power increase assuming that the blower and fuel system doesn't run out of puff.
At 7 psi boost that gives a 49% increase in power. So to get 450 you need around 300+ from the engine which given that it's CR is severely reduced is a bit of a challenge especially as blowers do not like hairy cams. The other factor is air charge temperature reduces power output so it is not uncommon for this to pose a problem, especially on a rolling road where air flow is limited. If the air charges are high the you can loose a lot of power. Like 20-30% is not uncommon as the ECU backs everything off to stop the engine shrapnelling itself.
With 360 bhp... that's a N/A of around 280 which isn't bad given it should have reduced CR and cam profile assuming perfect ACT. So while the figures may be disappointing, there may be some very good reasons why.
On my Wedge, John Eales detuned it down to around 340 from 400+ and then we run about 8-9psi boost... Around 540bhpish. Currently looking at a few more psi boost.

Very Wrong!...7psi boost at 5k would suggest that the induction system to the plennum is fine.
Jeez i really feel for you, i truely hope you dont go through the heart ache i have mate and its something simple like cam timing
.
ETA...with a centrifugal blower it should still be pulling up to the limiter so for it to be falling off so low down indicates an issue Steve.

Not sure I understand the wrong comment. Unless I have got things wrong and you were referring to the start. In which case I apologize.
Yes 7psi at 5 k doesn't indicate a problem with the blower but what I am saying is that I have seen similar systems produce disappointing power/torque because of other issues such as air charge temperature (ACT) and cam choice. I've seen power runs with blowers where the ACT has gone up so much that the ECU has had to back off so much to preserve the engine that the power loss was huge. The ignition gets retarded to prevent detonation and hey presto you loose power.
I've had it happen in real life where the charge cooler circulation stopped and the ACT went over 60 and the ECU backed everything off. It was like someone had disconnected a couple of spark plugs.
So my first question would be what was the ACT?
A more important question would then be what was the power without the blower.
That will indicate if the blower side is being restricted or the base level starting point for the engine is in the right ball park.

allowing for my technical ignorance, i can report that Emerald reported no concerns with any part of the induction system, nor induction conditions, as far as plenum.I'm not saying that the 7psi at 5 k indicates a problem with the blower but what I am saying is that I have seen similar systems produce disappointing power/torque because of other issues such as air charge temperature (ACT) and cam choice. What size charger do you have fitted ?
I don`t know your temperamant but have you thought of useing Brute Force and Ignorance!

Rotrex C-38 81 : big enough. Takes a 245bhp mustang to 404bhp, provenWhat size charger do you have fitted ?

Yes of course it's tempting to deal with it by brute force but that would achieve a criminal record for me and nothing else.
