Stupidly Simple Tyre Question

I have heard a few times that preferred tyre pressures vary between makes. I *think* I have book pressures for the SO2 somewhere but I have SO3s fitted and have definitely read that they vary by 2+ psi in one direction or the other!

Has anyone got a 'definitive' typre pressure list for standard sized tyres and SO3s (if it has other makes too all the better!)

I think it's down to preference (within limits) Ive just changed to So3's and i'm running 21 front and 23 rear but i'm thinking of lowering them to 20 and 22 as its a little bit skittish still. Not difinitive i know but i hope its some help

Thank you for your post but I must admit I would 'still' like a post with the definitive figures .., or eve if not definitive what real drivers have them at!

Like FBC says, the S03pp seem to work better a couple of PSI lower than the S02pp. I have settled on 21/23 (cold) for normal road use. The optimum tyre pressure does vary with tyre size and condition, suspension setup and driving conditions though (as well as tyre type) so don't expect anyone to give you a single absolute figure - there is no such thing.

I feel awful; utter abject, apologies to you - not what I meant to imply at all but at 4:45am I was not thinking very well ... it was supposed to mean/say:

"Thanks, much appreciated, but if there is there is a 'book' figure I would still like to know; if not are there any *other* real drivers out there who can give me what they use"

I really am sorry for any offence caused; trust me if there's one person what can be called a non-real driver it's me considering my lack of experience at any speed above 'slow'
