Hmmmm, maybe.

Looking for some wheels for mine, but I think the Chim is one of the hardest cars to find a set of wheels for that look just right!

Baed on your profile these guys in Swindon should suit http://www.lepsons.com/

Their gillingham site did my soft RS alloys, not cheap but excellent results biggrin

It refers to the shape of the rim where the tyre bead sits. J is the most common on modern cars, other profiles are used on 4x4's, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and so on.

I put a set of these on my Chimaera and I think they look absolutely brilliant! I was attracted because I could get the original TVR sizes and just swap over my existing tyres. So I still have 16 inch rears and 15 inch fronts with the correct widths. They will machine the wheels to the offsets the purchaser specifies so again I was able to have the original TVR offsets. They also drill the stud holes to the purchaser's spec so it doesn't matter which hubs you are running.

The only problem I had was that the first set of rear wheels I bought had the stud holes drilled off-centre which gave awful vibration. They readily acknowledged their mistake and I had a replacement set of wheels, properly machined, within 24 hours.

They have been on the car for 9 months now and I am very pleased with them. They carried the car up to 150 mph on the German Autobahn with no problem. I never got beyond 130 mph with my original wheels due to warping and horrendous vibration.

You have a choice of 8 or 9J or two of each ,8J will fit on the front and rears, the offset ET is close enough .They remind me of the wheels on my MGRV8.

I like them . J is rim width .Love the deep dish style ..
