Hi All, happy new year. Have just started odd jobs before the better weather! I've removed the Plenum Chamber to clean the inlet tracts but was surprised the amount of force needed to turn the securing bolts. It looked as if there was some sort of thread sealant used on the bolts. Is this recommended into an alloy housing? Also is there a torque setting for the 6 x bolts? Thanks for any replies. John042.

Yes I've got quite a few "touretts" left over from past tasks just need to know which size will fit! Seriously though, the link for removal is quite good but by removing the throttle mounting plate after the plenum is loose you have enough room to lift the chamber clear of the inlet stub pipes. Saves butchering the grill. Incidently does anyone know if the fuel temperature sensor is used (Purpose) on the 400? The "bible" says not?? Thanks John042.
