The oil leak isn't from your sump sir

I was told this by my local "specialist" some months ago, after asking them to change the sump gasket when they were changing the oil. I finally got my spanners out in frustration,as oil was appearing on garage floor. Found a right old mess! I pulled out around 10 inches of gasket from the oil pick up filter, im surprised the oil kept flowing. Garages....
