Picked up a 96 Chim 500 up on Friday afternoon.

What an experience, do they all come with the fireworks when you press the load pedal, what a sound.

Girlfriend loves it, big smile when the road opens up.

Gets loads of positive attention, people just admiring it, most not really knowing what it is.

Just hope the summer hasn't finished. Photo on my profile is at the dealers, once I have bought a camera will post some better ones.

Nice motor wish I had brought the 500 instead of my 400, I assume you may be a new owner? remeber this is a love affair their will be a lot of bad times comming, just be prepared for them.

However while the car behaves herself three words, ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY.

Cheers James, did a lot of lurking on P/Heads so eyes are wide open. Bought from a dealer with warranty so hopefully if something major does go wrong it isn't going to spoil the experience too much.

Are you a TVRCC member? Why don't you visit the next East Midlands meeting on Sunday 8th August at Exton, Rutland and have a look see? More details on the TVRCC web site and EM regions own web site.
Peter

Congrats from a fellow recent purchaser of a Chim 500.

If you think they draw crowds of puzzled but interested people in the UK, you should see the reactions here in Australia in car parks and in traffic. You'd think I was driving a UFO....actually, come to think of it....

Enjoy.

J

PS Yes they do all sound and go like that. Woohoo!
