My clutch is quite heavy, ive bled the clutch fluid, master cylinder looks new. It was down on fluid a little so I'm thinking slave cylinder? Steve Heath book it looks quite easy to change yourself?

i had both leaking used to top them up on a regular basis before changing both, as long as the hydraulic system is topped up that will be the feeling you will always get on your clutch, i changed for a 5ltr clutch and what a difference, lite as a feather, sort your leaks out and upgrade your clutch matey!

Any ideas which one is best? Dont mine paying a bit extra for a better slave cylinder. One appears to be part Q0056, the other Q0010. I've read that part Q0010 has replaced Q0056? Im guessing both would fit and hopefully the hydraulic line will go straight in?

TVR power,
http://www.tvrpower.co.uk/store/slug/clutch-slave-...
£45.00, Part Q0056
Or Racetechdirect
http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/tvr-car-parts-subs...
£50 + Vat, Part Q0010
This one states '' TVR Clutch slave cylinder (Fits all Rover V8 models) Please note this is the correct Big Bore unit and not a cheap aftermarket unit with the smaller bore.''

Id have to check my paperwork to see if its the same number, but the slave cylinder i purchased from power increased the heavy feel of the pedal noticably, its more so in traffic and deffinatly a heavier action than it was with the original fitted.

Edited to add the part number of mine is indeed QOO56

Ah thanks for that, mines heavy enough definatly dont want that! Im more worried about the stickyness of the gears sometimes, i might have to live with a heavy clutch.
