central locking not working with remote :(

I have been working on my car changing the front lights and have not locked the car since I had started the work.

I tried to lock the car from the remote and did not work so took second remote and same problem.
(Changed both sets of batteries in remotes still did not work)

Anybody have any idea what's wrong?. Can't use my car unless I am able to lock the doors

Should be easy fix, disconnect the battery and reconnect after 2 minutes, this should reset alarm. It should work ok

OK I will try it, but will this fix the central locking problem?

Yes it should all controlled by alarm system
