Guys can you recommend a decent cover for all year round which will help my little beauty during the cold. Is there an oem tvr outdoor waterproof cover? I do not have a garage so need something decent. Any help would be much appreciated

The Hamilton classics one @ £165ish is very very good. Mine lived under it for a couple of years.

my hamilton classic fell apart really quickly and its a poor fit.
the seams come unglued, after one week, but they did send me some glue ! :-(

I've used 2 Covercraft Weathershields for my TVRs over the last 4 years. They are both still going strong.

I have a storm force from www.coveryourcar.co.uk Seems really well made, allows the air under it and doesn't scratch.

Three years on my Hamilton Classics breathable fleece lined outdoor cover and it's still going strong.

http://www.hamiltonclassic.co.uk/acatalog/OutdoorC...

In year two a small six inch area of stitching came away, which took 5 minutes with a needle & thread to sort.

It looks like it will do another year, perhaps two with a bit more of my needlecraft.

Five years for £160.00 is great value in my book, best of all because it's fleece lined it's one of the few covers I've found that doesn't scratch paintwork.

When the time comes to replace it I will simply replace with the same cover again.

Recommended.

I have the Hamilton Classics one as well. No issues with quality but do think it's too big. No probs most of the time but when it's windy it's like a big air balloon.

i got mine from ebay for 70 quid including postage and it fits very well, no idea if its as good or worse than more expensive ones but it seems to work well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Chimaera-93-03-Outdo...

Depends on whether you drive it regularly or are intending to clean it and lay up for a period of time.
I use my car every day and bought a whole car cover but as you can't clean the car before you put the cover on every night, I feared that it was scratching the paintwork. I now use a hood cover which is much better as no contact with the paintwork. I bought it off a guy who had sold his TVR so not sure exactly what type it is but believe it is either TVR original or Leven. It is heavy vinyl with a soft liner, shaped to match the hood of the car down to the bottom of the windows. Gives improved security too as there are flaps that go into the boot and bonnet.
