Have come to start the car (97 Chim) after the winter, fuel pump will not prime and the engine will not or turn over, fuses are OK, battery is good (windows up and down no delay) the little RED light next to the radio seems to be on when I turn the ignition on, what is this telling me.
I have tried the search engine on the site but it seems not to be working, any help would be appreciated.

Your immobiliser is not reset. What happens ehen you lock/unlock the car?
If you havent already, try the overdride key in the column, or disconnect the car battery to reset the alarm and immobiliser.

Have you tried unplugging and replugging your relays in and out?

Other option which worked for a mate of mine was to give the fuel pump a little tap,it may be slightly stuck.
