If I were to buy and export a 2000 Chim'450 to Switzerland, I'm going to have a bit of work on my hands to get it through the registration process. Anyone have a source for LHD lamps, and maybe an upgrade to improve the output of them. I'll also need a Swiss spec exhaust as whilst the sound of the current one makes my trousers moist.... it'll scare little old Swiss ladies to death.

Any pointers gratefully accepted

Stick these in the end and if you want weld or self tap ..Drops at least 15DB, they look factory and part of the exhaust syestem when pushed in..It could be an option and worth looking at ..They only stick out another 30mm or cut the exhaust back

I do so as it happens have a set of 'as good as new' LHD lenses/reflectors/adjustement screws etc here following my Mk3 Headlight conversion. I'll be in the garage later today and I'll take some piccies...

Yeah they are strict here, and many 'mods' have to have conformance papers. The 450 may be different though as it was never officially sold in Switzerland... here's hoping.

Have you spoken to anyone in the Swiss TVR Car Club for advice at all, they may be able to help?

I met a good few of them at the Mollis meet and they are a great bunch of complete TVR nutters enthusiasts hehe

I've sent 2 mails to the address on the weblink and they came back as undeliverable both times, so I thought maybe they had folded. Would you have an email address Ribol?

Just tried it, it didn't work, maybe they have some temporary technical issues?

What about asking here:
