Wanting to replace all 4 corners as my current tyres and rather old, the usual tyre centre I use are recomending Hankooks, saying they are as goog if not better than the T1-Rs that are currently on the car. Wheels are stock TVR.

What would people recommend ?

Have thought about looking for a set of 2nd hand alloys with decent tyres on so if anyone selling give me a shout

I have used both, not on a Chim though but a 3-series.
Dry weather grip felt the same for both, wet grip slightly better with the Hankooks. Wear rate slightly better on Hankooks.
The one aspect the Toyo's were far better on was driving through standing water, where they were really impressive.
I have T1R's on my Chim.
If they were the same price I would go for the Toyo's.

HTH.

Hankook Ventus Evo S1 fared very well in Evo's recent tyre test.
