Hi Guys,

I've noticed that my passenger-side door has dropped slightly, and is in need to being re-aligned.

I have done this to the drivers-side successfully myself already, however I can't seem to find the bolts for the passenger-side.

To get to them, is there any particular secret?
Do you have to remove parts of the dash etc?

The driver-side seemed pretty simple, and was easy to get to the bolts...

Cheers,

Malc

With the door open can you move it up and down. Mine was like this on the drivers side and it was a case of removing the speaker and reaching inside for the top pivot bolt which had come loose. I retightened it quite a few times over the following months but each time it would "work" loose. Eventually tightened it up so the door was aligned and shutting correctly and then drilled a small dia hole thru the nut and bolt and tapped in a spring steel pin. [this is the nut thats visible on the top hinge when the door is opened] No more problems.
Might be worth checking its not just this bolt thats worked its way loose.

Ahhh I didn't do that on the drivers side, just loosened off the 2 nuts under the dash.

Would I be able to loosen that bolt via the speaker, raise the door up a little, then re-tighten?

Or does this not allow adjustment?

Yes. Remove the speaker and check to see if the bolt has indeed come loose. Tighten as required to remove any play.
