Ok got to remove the dash top, what do I need to look out for ? Just had everything retrimmed and I don't want to damage anything on taking the top off. Cheers

Mind the stud at the back doesn't scratch the back panel/trim

Edit- passengers side

Do you actually need to fully remove the dash top? If all you need to get to are the relays etc on the passenger side, then I only remove the two nuts on the passenger side and prop the dash top up by 4 or 5 inches. Gives enough room to change a relay etc, plus I found that the driver's side nut is by far the most difficult to get to.

Stick a couple of bits of rubber fuel pipe on the studs when you lift the LH side, then you don't have to worry about what you rest it on.

Replace the nuts with wing nuts for next time, much easier.

Do me a favour !put plenty of tape on the section where the heater vents are ..Once you have managed to remove the bolts you need to squeeze genlty ,the problem can arise when it springs open again causing it to rip the top dash.. those threaded bars are very sharp ..Fit back with new larger penny washers and wing nuts .

Got to get the alarm module out , is this possible just with the left two bolts undone ?, cheers for the replies

Should I just duck tape where to two parts of the dash meet towards the windscreen ?
