Mine is a 98 Chim and there are two.
The one that normally gives problems is on the chassis near the starter motor
There is a second one behind the battery.

Have a look here on the excellent RV8R site. This fuse protects the alternator.

This is the one on top of the battery...might take some looking for but follow the cables from the + terminal. This fuse protects the fuse box.

Oooh are the batteries meant to be under a cover?

Min is just sitting there in the open!

Thanks guys, I located the fuse next to the engine mount, fuse intact ! I will check and see if there is a second one behind the battery.
Tried to start car last weekend, it tuned over 3 or 4 times and then absolutely nothing when I turned the ignition key. Fitted new battery, checked all fuses in the panel but still nothing. Any other ideas welcomed ?

Mine is covered by that incredibly effective insulator known as "a flap of carpet" which is obviously perfectly sufficient for protecting the battery terminals from the non-conductive aluminium casework of the ECU which TVR saw fit to lob in on top of it. hehe

Perhaps a stuck solenoid on the starter motor. Try giving it a tap with a soft hammer! Also clean up the connecting terminals including brighten the battery posts. Also the earthing points on chassis.
