Engine next?

New wheels & tyres fitted.
Griff brakes = braided hoses fitted.
Chassis cleaned, hammerited & Waxoyled.
Serviced.
New MOT.
New alarm fitted.
Rear lights & side indicators changed.
New carpets where required.
Now for the engine, not really scruffy but could do with a bit of attention.
Anyone removed their rocker covers and painted them themselves?
If so, how easy to remove & what primer & paint?
I know that Leven can have them done but I would like to save wherever possible.

Have you tried their enamel and did you remove / paint the rocker covers?

Er, no. I've used quite a bit of other stuff they supply - POR etc, but not the engine enamel. Their service is excellent and generally their products are top notch so I can't imagine you'd go far wrong with the stuff.

Chris, where did you get the carpets done? Is it possilble to just have the necessary pieces replaced? (Some of mine are badly sun bleached whereas others are fine)

Carefull painting Alloy, it needs proper primer. Powder coating is probably the best option, and needn't be expensive.
