Does anyone have a picture of what is behind the rear number plate please?

I have bought a new one and some double sided tape but looking through the search results people talk about screws and one about usng a rawl plug to improve the fixing!

Have started a couple of things that should have been 5 minute jobs and spent a lot longer on them, it would be good to know in advance what is going to be there when I pull the old plate off..

Thanks in advance

Graham

No pictures, but basically it's a recess, both lamps in the bottom and moudling each side to put the screws in. I did wonder about using tough double sided tape but wasn't sure there was enough surface area.

The double sided tape that comes with number plates is super grippy so as long as you put a couple of pieces on a clean and dry surface it'll be on to stay.

I've just fitted a a pair of plates to my sisters car and while I was adjusting the position it grabbed an edge a couple of times and it was very difficult to pull it off.

I've used 3 of them to stick the front plate to the grille and it's never moved, so maybe there is enough grip - I stand corrected smile

hopefully, it will be a simple case of peel off the old, clean-up and re-stick the new one! Will up-date when changed!
