After two years without use it is time to get back on the road. The battery has been charged and it starts on the first crank. However, I don't have any life on the dashboard. I have the loom unsound in the footwell and the fuseboard ready to shift behind the seat.

Are the any obvious starting points?

No life? Do the dial lights work?

Fuse 9 or 10 according to the bible. So I've removed each fuse, checked and replaced remebering to make sure all the number run in the same direction just in case I meet an AA man with OCD.

A little further investigation.

Nothing works on the stalks, no readings on the dials. The lights/hazards work from the second dashboard.

You really need to see where +12V stops along the route :across the fuse - back of fusebox - dash.

Spend, I figured but wanted to see if any said "have you tried that thing they hid in the factory that switches off everything to the dashboard".

Out with the multimeter.

Thanks
