I've been reading all of the "how to?" threads, and in normal circumstances I would have a go myself. However, I am recovering from yet more knee surgery, and won't be able to contort myself under the footwell for a few weeks yet, so I was wondering if there was anyone in the Berkshire / Thames Valley area who does the whole remove, refurb and replace job whilst I am languishing at home?

Thanks smile

I'm sure the guys that Ropps uses would probably do something like that for you. Might be pretty costly, as opposed to doing it yourself, but keeping the knees in tact is probably a better plan.

I had my dash replaced by TVR Power Bodyshop when it was up with Dom for it's annual MOT, service and fettle. They did an excellent job, especially matching the new dash to the wooden steering wheel.

They may be a little bit futher away than you considered but they do collect and deliver. Might cost more than a local garage doing the job but it will be done properly and your car won't be driven whilst out of your sight.

Hi blues,

The guys at mike Morgan engineering did an absolute marvellous job, I think my chim is one of the first to have the dash vaneer done in leather, it looks brilliant in my opinion. These guys are great, If you want to see the work that has been carried out on mine let me know. I live in wokingham. Do you want there number?

Hi bud,

Will post the pics end of next week as I'm having the steering wheel done too, so want to put the pics of the complete job.

Thanks GG, i have used Power when i had the Tuscan. Whereas they are good, they are a little bit out of the way for me.

Good call Ropps, will give Morgan a shout. smile

Just waiting a call back from SC Power, who may be considering doing this, and they could fit an A/f meter at the same time

Blues,

What are you intending to have done?

I would be happy to pop round and remove the roll top off to enable you to do your own thing, and install it back for you, when you are done.....

All I would ask in return, is a drive in your F430 smile
