Small tear in rear plastic window

I noticed a small slit in the rear plastic this afternoon, only about 4mm long but effing annoying and bound to get bigger.

Any suggestions for a small repair? Eventually the only solution will be to replace the rear screen, but as it's less than 2 years old I want to get a bit more life out of it yet.

Anyone used this stuff?

It seems to be semi translucent, but in such a small area won't make much difference - I hope.
