Hi all - pick up my first TVR on Saturday and cannot wait. 2000 Chimaera 400.
Forum looks very good - moving to TVR from a Cobra replica so am used to loud fast cars and mad people on forums.

wavey Congratulations!! And welcome nuts

I see you are local to me, so I look forward to meeting you somewhere or other very soon! Unfortunately, you have just missed the Herts and Beds mmet near Hitchin last Sunday - however, Chatsworth is very close now. Are you thinking of going??

Lovely colour! The chimp is a modern take on the classic sportscar. Gorgeous, fast, simple and light... And all civilians seem to notice and love it too...

All TVR's look good IMO(and i do like the modified stuff) but a nice factory spec Chimaera in a classy colour scheme like this, serves to remind me of just how handsome these cars are.

smokin.

We're not mad, its the others. And watch out for the Griff owners, they're a sneaky lot wink

Oh, and welcome, nice colour too smile

That place looks familiar ... is it the front gate at Bespoke Performance? if so my wife was looking at a really nice Chimaera that loked just like your, when we picked up my Griffith from its service.

Where in Herts are you based?

Yep its Bespoke Performance (very impressed with them)- I live in Buntingford about 8 miles from Ware.

I am also impressed with Bespoke, they look after the Griff very well, its just had its pre summer service (if we get a Summer! ), i am sure you will enjoy the Chim, there is a lot of banter on here between the owners but i like all TVR's.

i live in the outskirts of Stevenage and go out near to Buntingford to fly RC heli's and planes quite often, but can't get them in the TVR.

If you need a lift up there to collect your car, then let me know as I am popping up to Bespoke in the Cerbera on Saturday morning from the Royston direction, so I could pick you up smile.

I suspect you already have enough offers, but do PM me if I can help smile

Indeed; this looks very similar to Cloggy's one - which is rather delightful to behold. lick
