My Chim has a Blue roof, both parts of which are starting to look their age, it's all a bit faded and the targa section has the odd mark and stain on it. Functionally however it all works great and seals up well.

So I'm considering doing a bit of DIY with Renovo to give it a lift, but before I wade in and make a total balls of it I was wondering if the general consensus is that this is worth (or not worth) doing, if so is there a knack to getting a good finish?

I'd hate to end up with a patchy mess

Thanks
Mike

Did mine last year.More than happy with it,scary at first when putting it on,I have a dark blue roof and the blue was so light out of the tub, went ahead anyway, few brush marks when wet also worried me but once dried looks fantastic.Going to do the inside with it next.

Did mine last year, 3coats came out looking very good, but it's a bit faded now, so will do it again soon.
One major tip, for me anyway. Take the whole roof off of the car to do it as its very easy to splash spots you can't see onto the car !

Thanks all

So take your brave pills, take the roof off, apply plenty of coats and never drive it in the sun. Sounds easy enough so I think I'll give it a go.

Indeed so. Surely if the sun is out, the roof is bagged and in the boot?
