TorqueV8 chip info
Discussion
Its just a TVR chip with a torqueflow badge! Its likely to be off a different engine size to compensate for the appalling airflow calibration on the Torqueflow unit, all the ones Ive seen so far are from a 5ltr. Do you have a TF AFM? The swich could switch between maps if its where the tune resistor should be, but Torque flow never had the ability to reprogram the chips, hence the using of TVR ones.
It would be in place of the tune resistor thats normally found plugged into a 2 way blue connector that pokes out of the main ECU loom in the passenger footwell. You cant run a leaner map if the cars are fitted with physical catalysts, as they cannot deal with a wider mixture range and tend to overheat and melt!

This should help with Marks explanation Edited by blitzracing on Monday 23 April 12:06

This is the stock resistor but you can see the blue connector Blitz refers too.Edited by Simon says on Monday 23 April 12:45
