Think they are Chinese copies, there not split rims just made to look like them .If you like them go for it ,the early Griffiths were fitted with these style wheels .

There are plenty on Ebay but i would go for 16" 17"

These are quality

I prefer the Spiders, but these are good, who makes these (the six spoke above)?

I have the Compomotive M06's on mine - the thing to watch is that the front and the backs look slightly different from one another because the offset is so different front to back.

you can see what I mean here:

Thanks Eggs! I found th MO6s on the Compmotive site, interesting, what size are your rims diameter and width? Can I ask how much they were?

Cheers

I put the BBS alloys on my car last year. I stayed with the original 16/15inch. I think they look great and have had a lot of positive responses.

No worries...

Compomotive MO6 wheels F: 16x8, R 17x9
Toyo Proxes TR1S. F: 225/16/45, R 255/17/40

Can't remember on cost (probably trying hard to forget wink ). Pretty sure I got them from here http://www.performancealloys.com/product-details.a... I told them what they were going on, and they did the rest. Really easy - just talk to them if you like the prices...

When I enquired some years back (about 3) with Compomotive I think I was quoted about £850 for the silver 6 spoke and correct nuts very similar to EggsBenedict spec wink and they would be turned around within 2 weeks if unusual spec biggrin

EB, did you have to make any adjustments to the suspension set up at all to avoid rubbing on arches etc? I really like the look of the M06's and some wider rubber front and rear can only improve handling........I think biggrin

Not at all, but I've since been informed that the front brake kit that I used adds 4mm spacing. I've not noticed any negative effect of that since I've done it. There's bound to be someone who says something about the wheel centreline moving across slightly messing up the suspension design etc. etc., but back in the real world, I really like the way the car handles.

I actually thought about going for 10" wide rears - someone on here has image wheels that wide, but I decided not to push things that far!

Hey EB, thanks again for your info, any possibility of posting (or emailing me) more pictures of you car? The close-ups in your blog are good but I'd like to see the whole car (if poss?)

Thanks

Mine look close especialy with 255 tyres ,my 255 tyre caught the angled outrigger when one side of the car was jacked up .I now have 5mm quality spacers with 7mm longer wheel studs fitted but im a bit worried the tyre may now hit the wheel arch .

Then you'll have to trim the arch like I did.

Any pictures ?,even standard tyres hit the inside lip of the arch if you stick a spirit level on the tyre up to the arch, pretty weird design.
