chimaera 4.0 v nissan 350 z

i have a friend who wants to see whos quickest from 0-60 we have disused airfield nearby so were gonna see, mines standard 4.0 what do you think

Won't be a lot in it, but I'd expect the chimp to edge it.
The Zed will do better at 100+ though.

Does it matter? You'll be in a TVR, he'll be in a, well, a err...angular box?

it does matter to him, performance figures give the chim 4.7 and the nissan 5.7 like you say i,m in a chim and hes in a square box will let you know the outcome that is if your interested

Having previously owned a 350z I'm pretty sure my 450 is faster to 60 but not by a huge amount

I put my Chim up against a friends spanking new 370Z and I absolutely pissed on him off the lights it was like his car was broken

I think there's a few people here that need some traffic light drag racing practice

Depends how healthy your stock 400 is ?
I've a 400hc with a couple of subtle engine mods, and there's not much in it between it and my friends 350z.
Should be an interesting one. A fairer test would be from 20mph as it takes the launch skill and lack of mechanical sympathy out of the equation.
