What do we think about a cheapo Clutch MC from ebay - false economy?!

The cheapest I have found a proper Girling one is from Rimmer Bros, they do them for £60 delivered.

Hi hdandy. Don't know about the e-bay ones but my experience might help you decide. I got a Landy one and found the union wouldn't fit. Bu**ered it; ended up buying a replacement pipe with unions and a cylinder from Racing Green, at their prices!! There are some posts reference different cylinder diameter ones probably the Rimmer ones? Basically the job is a fiddly one so make sure you get one that fits the pipe union. Good luck J C.

You will need to change the rod (very easy) and get an adapter for the pipe fitting, got mine off ebay for 9 quid, one of these..

MG Midget Pipe Adapter Adaptor ACB9641 GM105Y Brand New Unused (also used on the Triumph 1500 Spitfire iirc.). I spent ages trying to figure out if this is the correct one and ended up buying it as a guess. Might be worth adding to parts list.

You will prob need to bend the pipe a little to get it to bolt up as the position of pipe mating to the unit is raised by the adapter.
