Don't worry that was my eldest daughters first response to the Chim when I got it 2 1/2 years ago. Now at 5 she loves it and every time we go out she insists that we go through the big tunnel (Hatfield Tunnel) with the roof off/ windows down.

I'm near to Hatfield actually. KNow that tunnel well! I suspect she'll grow into it but she loved the 1953 Sunbeam Rapier I had (total rustbucket) and now I have this georgous TVR she couldn't give a monkey's. Bummer.

My daughter was like that too at first. Now she screams with delight whenever she gets to go in the TVR. She always makes sure I have an AA card with me before we set off though.

What are the details of the show at the royal grammar school ? I actually live about a mile from there. You think they'd let another Tiv in there ?

I know they are keen for all cars to participate and there are prizes to be won! 50+ cars a bikes entered so far. Should be a nice day if the weather holds.

Oh god, i don't think my car is in any way fit for a show...far from it. Will come down and say hi though. What time are you heading there ? And yes, fingers crossed for some nice weather.

Oh I don't think it's like that - £2 entry per car and I suspect there will be a whole host of lesser models than your Tiv. Bring it along - you might be surprised how well it compares to the crap that some people bring! I'm going down about midday for a few hours.

You haven't seen the tiv Best get hard at work with the Sikaflex tonight i think ! I'll probably see you down there. Mine will be the noisy white one with plenty of "quirks". Might bring the toolkit down and see if anyone knows how to wire up a boot solenoid for me. ha

I've new babies. . Bought XC90 ,Clarksons choice. Chim is a crumple zone waiting to happen so they won't be going near it...that's presuming I have not scrapped it before then!
