hi guys,

so today i decided to change my plugs, extenders, cap and arm. done then all and when i started it the car ran really bad think on 4 cylinders LOL. they were all fitted firmly etc. then i noticed one arcing really badly between the extender and plug. really odd, swapped that one with an old one and it improved a bit - but wtill wasnt running on all . so i put the old extenders in and it ran fine again.

i bought these from one of the well known specialists, so wots going on here a few faulty ones?

im using the stock NGK.s and its on old std leads. (new ones to get also)

anyone else had this?

Just fitted 8 new ones from a well know with 3 letters as name, no problems. Suggest you make sure they are correctly clicked home, very tight with new extenders; I installed extenders then the leads to make sure they were home. (make sure they click home)

How did you observe this as the plug extender goes over the top of the plug connector- where was it arcing to and from?
