Easily! Gaz gold pros tend to be well regarded on here as a good compromise between performance and cost

Care to elaborate Daz? Need to do the bushes on mine and can't decide. Also can't find where to buy standard either.

Well i had a good chat at Thorsby park yesterday ,he has a show standrd 3l Capri ,after i mentioned i owned a TVR he then said he works for RT Racing in Sheffield

He did mention when cars come in with long term handling problems he just strips all the wishnbones and fits the rubber ones back in , the problem is solved every time ,he also fabricates ,welds and bulids the cars up with the new chassis which have better tolerances ..

Is this the same RT Racing that polybushed my Wedge because "it would improve the handling and would be better than the original rubber bushes..." which it did...

To say that all long term handling problems are down to the bushes is really quite a general statement. It is usually down to poor alignment, wear in the components and other combinations. Even tyre pressures! I suspect that when they strip the wishbones and reassemble them, they are replacing worn components and resetting the alignment and hey presto all is good. I would also imaging that 10 year old shocks and springs are also replaced in a lot of cases.

It doesn't automatically follow therefore that the fact that rubber bushes are the cure when the reality is, it is the replacement of worn components and setting the geometry correctly that has cured the problem.

Mine came with the protech stuff - had no idea how much they were!!! Smiling now.

Interested in what performance upgrades you are thinking of. I've been thinking since I read this how an extra 10-20hp might make the car even more special. Which way are you going?
