Or just quote 1998 Ford Galaxy 2.0 & you will get the correct fuel filter.

Here are the "Euro Car Parts" part numbers:

503440031 (Guttmann) £5.64

503440030 (Hengst) £9.72

Or just quote the major filter manufacturer's own part number at your local motor factor.

Fram: G3829
Bosch: 0450-905-084
Cooper: FT5141
Crosland: 6689

It's used on loads of cars & not a difficult filter to find.

Even your local Halfords hold it if you quote 1998 Ford Galaxy 2.0 wink

  • chuckle* Some months ago I gave the muppet down at my local Halfwits the part numbers for the fuel filter and he was unable to find it on their books - so he asked what car was it for exactly. With great trepidation I told him it was for a TVR Chimaera (as I couldn't remember any of the hundreds of other cars it had been used on) and suddenly he "remembered" that it was a custom TVR part and I'd have to source it from TVR directly ...
... I couldn't be bothered to argue. wink
