I once owned a 4.0l Chimaera and I had many happy hours pottering around in it, and I've often wondered what happened to the old gal. Does anyone know the whereabouts of T685 JCX, wild oyster paintwork, 1999, which I bought new from HHC? If anyone has seen it, could you PM me please?

I just checked the DVLA's web site to see whether the car is still being taxed. There is good news and bad news...

Firstly, it says "licence not due", which means the car IS still being taxed (or possibly SORNed), which means it hasn't been scrapped.


BUT.... It says "vehicle colour: BEIGE".

The DVLA always did have a weird idea of the colour - "brown" was another description

I looked on "myid.co.uk" and it is currently being insured, so must be running somewhere.
