i am taking my griff to oulton park at the end of june for my first track day. i plan to do some basic service/maintainance on it beforehand - listed below, as the car was serviced only a couple of thousand miles ago. is there anything else obvious that i should look to do beforehand
check and top up engine and gearbox oil
water - top up, check hoses
check and replace if necessary brake pads
tyres - condition and pressure
check fan belt
any advice would be greatfully received

I've put a few notes on my website.. I'm no expert though and this was only my first track day as well!

Thoroughly enjoyable... didn't push it too hard.

Oulton Park

Personally I think it is the most enjoyable circuit in the country and I'm sure you will have a ball, however do remember the run offs aren't great and it's easy on a track day to let the "red mist" come down, perhaps the final item on the list should be "check avaliable balance on credit card" good luck.

You forgot to put "half the contents of your local Tesco's" on your list - well you had it with you at Brands!

Oh yes, forgot to mention the Tescos supplies... the missus thought I was going on a picnic... or that's what I told her!!!!

But Ian (Leadfoot), I'm still not upto target weight.... I need more waistline to keep the backend in line whilst cornering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
