LCD digital odometer...?

Word of advice please - if I saw an LCD digital odometer at the bottom middle of a normal Chimaera speedo, on a 2000 year car, should I start asking questions or is this another case of TVR using whatever came to hand?

No, this is what they used on most 2000 cars including my "X" reg one.

Yes, my 2000 W got to about 110k before I wrote it off. :-(

My 1994 4.0 HC had a replacement digital odometer some time ago. Not sure how common it is to see on pre-1999 cars though, guess it depends on what was available at the time?
