I'm sure this has probably been asked a million times but search is down. I know someone on here has recently fitted a new cam and i'm thinking of doing the same as something is feeling wrong with mine and that's probably a good place to start.

I wondered if there's a specific fast road cam or just upgraded cam that anyone can suggest. Love the sound of the one that was recently posted (with the clip to youtube).

Forgot to add that i'm running a '93 4l

That car is mine

What do you use the car for?

You will loose alot of low down power with that cam, change valve springs, piston cut outs, solid lifters, adjustable rods, have cold start issues bad mpg around town etc

But I love it

I think the best all round with abit extra up top is the V8D stealth, I doubt it will lope like mine but not heard a bad review on it

I use mine as a daily runner so yea probably not a great idea to change to that one. ha. It does sounds absolutely brilliant though !

I had briefly come accross something about the Stealth so i'll look into that more. You know where i can pick one up from and anything else that's worth changing at the same time ?

I believe the Stealth will only work in the 4.0 HC engine and Rob recommended the MC1 for my basic 4.0 when I spoke to him.It has certainly transformed the car; just read his website comments on what it will do and I can confirm every word; very smooth progressive power.
