A question regaridng tyre ratings:
The original tyres were Z rated and I understand these are like hen's teeth these days, if available at all. So the general consensus (and the only way forward) seems to be V or W rated tyres. What are people usig these days?
Toyo Proxes look favourite although I know there are divided views on these tyres. Blackcicles appear to have 15" V rated and 16" W rated tyres available in the correct width and ratio. I have the original Imola 15" and 16" rims, no power steering I don't do track days. So what's the general advice please? (Apologies if this is an old topic but the PH search function is STILL not working.)
Also, not sure what the insurance companies think of this. Anyone got any feedback on this aspect?
