A few posts recently seem to be highlighting a big difference in quality of the work. With the name and shame rules it can't be said who to avoid but what about examples of where good quality workmanship has been noted ?

HHC did the outriggers on my Griff last year and have a great overall reputation. The lads there really do know all TVRs inside out as you would expect for being with them so long.
TVR Ecosse in Dundee are always well spoken about as well although I have myself never had any direct realings with them.
HTH and that you get sorted soon beer

Just a thought..

..if outriggers are dodgy, there may be other serious rust elsewhere which would be revealed by a body-off?

Just doing the outriggers might be a bit iffy?

As I said, just a thought

Mike Vernon on Bristol Ave next door to where I work did mine, excellent job and good value.
The only other place I have seen chassis rot was under one of my manifolds which was a bit scary as it is where the wishbone bracket is welded.

I took mine to MB Motorsport in South Devon, initially I wanted just a body-lift outrigger replacement - but they made a strong case for a body-off job. And I’m glad I agreed: whilst the rest of the chassis wasn’t as bad as the outriggers the peace of mind of having the whole lot done was well worth the additional cost IMO.
