3rd day of ownership & now she won't start :-(
Discussion
I think the last sentence of your post answers your question. Did the car start ok before you disconnected the battery? In moving the wiring loom and the ecu to disconnect the battery you may have loosened or disturbed something. Check and recheck all the connections, starting withe battery terminals first, then the wiring and relays. Did you reset the alarm when you reconnected the battery? Im sure its something pretty simple, just recheck everything.
Well the breakdown folks came out and couldn't fix it.
Spoke to a mate who's had a Chim & is now enjoying his Cerbera :-)
He suggested that taking the battery out might have blown a fuse. I checked all the fuses & none had blown and then I spotted a 20A one on its own block dangling from the harness that connects to the +ve terminal of the battery. Checked it and it had blown :-(
Swapped over and she's back in rude order.
Had I been waiting on the breakdown service there'd be nothing happening until Weds!
