I trwalled ebay for ages and ended up getiing a transit one for a couple of quid (new), 15 seconds with a needle file and it fitted perfectly.

As I mentioned before I have hundreds of lightning conductor clips for 8mm rod that work fine, free to anyone that wants one.

bounce Bump bounce

Could the fact that this is missing on mine be the reason that I have just spent half an hour draining a lake from my footwell?

It shouldn't be as the hole is in front of the footwell bulkhead, it should drain into the front of wheel arch. Lake chimaera in the drivers footwell is usually from a leak around the seal around the brake fluid reservoir

Yeah they have both been done recently from the look of them, I couldn't see any water getting in through them. I know that it is coming in from somewhere at the front because i felt it dripping onto my right shin yesterday. The only hole I can find is the missing retaining clip but as you say, I thought that it was a bit far forward to be coming from there.

Was a crazy amount of rain yesterday though, the inside has stayed bone dry since I've had it.

Or washer pipe holes if not sealed, apparently.
