300 miles. Er, that's just over a tankful of petrol at motorway speeds. It will be fine. Just make sure the fans are working and there are no obvious water leaks as it's summer and you'll be queueing.

Your car should be fine. Maybe wise to carry some spanners & ensure you've got your spare wheel thing I guess.
Until I stacked my Chim I was doing 200 mile journeys in it twice a week for a year. Only time it failed was with a dead alternator, and you can hardly pack a spare one of those.
