Last week I had a leaking fuel line. Had those replaced on Wednesday in order to make the journey to Le Mans early Thursday. Anyway I had driven about 20 miles when the car missed, just a little hesitation, then again. This happened a few times. I turned back and took the other car in the end.

So the question is would changing the fuel lines have caused this ( plenum removal etc) or is it something else?

Do you know what fuel lines were used? Not insinuating that this is definately the case in this instance, but, non-branded cheap fuel lines can soften and disintegrate although I would have thought it would have taken a bit longer for this to start occurring if it were the case.

If you removed the plenum you also disturbed the coil and its this area i would turn my attention to before blaming the fuel system.
