I'd like to replace the (crap) ignition key with a flip job.

Can anyone tell me what make I should be looking at? Looking at my key it seems to be Opel?

(1997 Chim).

This work? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360441127952?ssPageName=...

Yes it's a Vauxhall part so that should do it. Be good to get the remote buttons working too.

scratchchin Wonder if Carl has ever tried it.

you can get those to fit but it takes some work

the blade can be removed and you could take it to get shaped into a Vaux key, or I filed down the original TVR key to fit into the fob

Forgive me for asking what is probably a stupid question, but how do you program the keyfob to do what the OEM one does? Or, in other words, is it simple enough for a retard like me to do?
