ahh the other trim thread has just reminded me!

what the best stuff to use to reattach/glue the rubber trim back onto the windscreen?

lets just say after a bit of a spirited drive down the a46 the other week it decided it couldn't hack the place!

A little run of black sealent under the rubber, push on.
You might have to wait until the weather cools a bit as in this heat it can take an age to go off.

Leave the roof on for at least 24 hours afterwards to help it stick in place.

Not necessarily, it’s just that the screen and rubber are black.

Clear "will" look black when used in that application.

I used "KENT Quick Seal Black" (UK product BTW) and obtained excellent results - one year after and still looks "concourse"
