This has started a couple of days ago, and just happens sometimes. Clutch pedal comes back but not all the way. Mostly around town driving slow I think. I remember giving it some revs and the pedal came back... Pedal is not heavy, shifts go as normal.

Slave problem?

Maybe, also could be the return spring inside the master cyl... they do fail and as far as I have ever been able to ascertain, these are not available separately (if anyone knows differently, please post up), so you may be into a new cylinder if it is this. The spring can be got at from the foorwell by popping the seal and piston etc out (obviously the fluid needs to be drained and replenished to do this).

^ Agree with this wink may be old swollen seals/contaminated seals causing friction and the spring can no longer do its job scratchchin

Agree with all above.

I wouldn't waste time thinking about it.

Renew with a good quality item, I'd do slave as well if there was any doubt.

Fit and forget!

The part? Not horrendous (but too much for what it is). Potential gotcha in that some have sourced from 'non-TVR' suppliers at a better price only to find a different thread form in the pipe ports. Not insurmountable but annoying if you discover after stripping the thing out. Worth a bit of searching as it's been documented pretty well.

Job is fiddly in the normal TVR way but not awful if you think about it (lower fastener a bit inaccessible on the engine side)
