Anyone got their body off in Berkshire area

I have a problem with the wiring from the speedo transducer mounted at the diff through to the speedo. The wiring diagram I have differs from my chim and I would like to take a look at someone else's car. Is there anyone out here who has got the body off and who lives around the Berkshire area that would let me take a look. I am particularly interested in the wiring area around the gearbox as my wiring is broken at that point.
The book says that one wire is connected to one of the wires coming from the reversing light switch and the other .....who knows.
Both my wires are different colours to that stated on the wiring diagram, just to add an extra challenge. So the best way forward is to look at another car.
I tried a local company without much luck. If anyone could help with this request it would be much appreciated
