right well after being happy with the fit and look of the comps its refurb time, only question is what colour? did not like black untill I fitted them on the car and it looks better than I thought it would?

maybe gold? or a flakey silver? dont fancy a mid tone like shadow chrome as i dont think it sits well with a dark blue car, or I could take a leaf out of peters book and go orange hehe

(if anyone is good with photoshop trickery aswell feel free to show off you skills wink )

Personally I would stick with that sort of flatish black, I think it goes really well with the colour of the car.

well they need repainting whatever I do as they are not up to the standard I like, bit of kerbing and marks where they have been placed face down, as I say I was dead set on Silver untill I fitted them and the colour has grown on me, though I am tempted for something abit different and bright.

Either what you've got or silver. Gold looks naff, other dark colours / shades are lost against the car. Purely my opinion...smile

I like the gold as well. Not sure I would want it on my own car though.

thats what I'm thinking as I need some new badges! I'm tempted to try the gold, at the end of the day its only £12 for a couple of spray cans and some time to strip sand and spray, if they look great, then perfect, if they look good but not quite up to standard paint wise then I will get them done professionally, if they look ste, then I think I will go with a fresh coat of black unless someone shows me something better biggrin

Do it!

If you're doing it yourself as you said it's easy enough to switch back if you don't like it.
